These focal points will be divided between the four central components, with the first focusing on tourism and fun for the whole family. This sector has made accommodation plans that extend top upwards of thirty five visitors, with numerous centers established for entertainment and leisure. A planned one hundred hotel facilities will be constructed to keep up with the demands of the visitors. Another component will be focused on the largest shopping mall in the entire world, which will be known as the Mall of the World. Dubai Water Canal

This tremendous construction will connect the Arabian Gulf passing with the Business Bay, creating a union through the center of the city. The planned waterway will stretch upwards of three kilometers in length, with a projected width of eighty to one hundred and twenty meters. All of the construction works will enhance the project’s infrastructure with bridges and drilling, with completion dates set on as early as 2017. The development of this canal will establish an additional six kilometers to the waterfront, with the completion of the project creating eighty thousand square meters that will be dedicated to public space and larger facilities. The project will also comprise several new shopping and entertainment establishments that will be linked together with a newly constructed bridge. At the project’s entrance, located along Sheikh Zayed Road, will be an iconic Trade Centre that will be comprised of four primary levels. Deira Project

The Nakheel Properties group is focused on the Deira project, which will be developed between four islands that already exist on the Palm Deira. This project will cover over one thousand and five hundred hectares, and is designed to establish a new waterfront destination, which will add as many as forty kilometers to the existing coastline. Twenty one one of these kilometers will be established specifically as beachfront segments. Three hectares are planned to be used for hotel and resort properties, with over four hundred hectares planned for other developments. A night market, stylized like an Arabic souk, is also planned, which will contain upwards of one thousand and four hundred retail centers and restaurants. Other planned developments include an amphitheatre that can hold thirty thousand people, as well as a creek marina that can accommodate several yachts and mooring facilities.
